Silent Screams

Riley pursed his lips and closed his laptop, taking a long sip of his beer. “Fucking has-been..” He exhaled a shaky sigh, obviously angry and threw the bottle with all his strength at the wall, listening to it shatter. Grabbing his jacket, he walked outside and to the cafe he…

The ex-athlete stiffened just a bit as he set eyes on Jamie, sitting back. He hadn’t exactly made the best impression with him either. Shifting his eyes away, he clutched his coffee and sank into the booth a bit, not really feeling like fighting with anybody else. Taking a long sip of his coffee, he coughed as it burnt his tongue and was forced to swallow it. “Fuck.”

Jamie snickered as he watched, shaking his head and sitting at a booth all his own, glancing at him. “Supposed to let it cool down at least a little bit….” He didn’t really feel like arguing either and hell, it was all a misunderstanding and he didn’t really want to be called a unibomber again. He adjusted his glasses and kept the cofee in his hands a while, just savoring the warmth.

Riley stared at the other guy for a long second, narrowing his eyes slightly. He wasn’t used to people just giving up a fight without a word. Glancing down at the coffee, he shrugged. “That’s probably a good idea.” Riley exhaled a weak chuckle and sat the mug on the table in front of him, nodding to the seat opposite of his. “Join?”

He nodded and grabbed his cup again, moving to sit across from him. “Sure you want to be caught with the unibomber?” He rose a brow, adjusting his hood and finally taking a sip of coffee.

Grabbing his jacket, he walked outside and to the cafe he used to go to with his mom all the time. It’d gotten a lot more popular, unfortunately and it wasn’t as empty as it used to be. Finally finding a corner booth, he ordered a coffe and frowned, rubbing his head lightly.

Jamie finally got out of his house, telling his sister for the sixth time or so he did not want to watch the movie with her. He had already watched Toy Story with her. He sighed and grabbed his jacket, shrugging it on and walking outside, looking around and going into the cafe, glancing at Riley and pursing his lips with a sigh before ordering a black coffee.

Really? Are we introducing ourselves in revealing clothing now?

I’ll stick with just me, thank you.

Aww, come on. Just one post? You in revealing clothing will still be you. ;)

She’s seventeen dude.

So? It’s not like I jumped her. Just thought I’d make a bit of small talk. Let me guess. Overprotective big brother? Well. That isn’t cliche at all, is it?

I’m just warning, seeing as how you were asking her to post something revealing.

 I didn’t say naked.

Doesn’t matter, it was still a bit creepy on your part.

Really? Are we introducing ourselves in revealing clothing now?

He gets stir crazy in this house with all these cats. Jamie says it’s just him but there’s too many cats and Rocky is the one that has to put up with them.

He bothers Naomi. It’s not my fault or hers. Deal with it.

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

Uhhhhhh, walking? I don’t know.

History of a Bastard Child

Jamie Greene was born to a Christi Greene on March 5, 1990. He didn’t know his father, his mother always telling him he didn’t matter every time he asked. Other than that he had a normal childhood. His mother would bring men into the house, thinking they were always ‘the one’. The most stable of them all, who even though they are divorced now they still keep in touch, seemed to make his mother very happy, even giving her a daughter named Kandace who is now currently most of Jamie’s world. He didn’t make friends easily, although he had a couple who stuck by him until he graduated high school so when he makes friends, he plans on keeping them. On his eighteenth birthday, he asked his mother about his dad again and she felt it was the right time to tell him. When his mother was twenty, she was invited to a party. At that party, a man had slipped something into her drink, lead her up to his room and had his way with her. By the time she came to, he was gone. She didn’t bother to report it, she was too scared to. A couple weeks later she found out she was pregnant and being raised in a family where abortion was frowned upon, she decided to keep the kid and raise it. When Jamie found all this out he began thinking that maybe, somewhere deep down… his mother didn’t really want him to begin with. He drinks to was those thoughts out of his mind though.
